The sixth round of the SCPF PDI Division 1 League Competition 2021-2022

Hot on the heels of the Albany Cup success on Monday,  Round 6 of the SCPF Division 1 PDI competition was hosted by Basingstoke last night, Thursday 17th February.

Much against the run of play to date in these competitions, Bracknell won first place by 1 point.

Many congratulations to Ian Hardacre for getting one of the only 4 tens awarded by judge Paul Thackeray during the evening. This judge appreciated the strengths of all of our images and consequently we just squeaked home.

The 8 points for first place in the league standings is a great help in our bid to remain in Division 1 as it lifts us five points above the bottom three clubs. There are two more rounds to go (March 1 and 10) – let us hope we continue this positive momentum.
