About the Club

Bracknell Camera Club was formed in 1954 and has developed into one of the foremost photography clubs in the Home Counties. We are proud of the quality and diversity of the images of our members, and the friendly and cooperative environment that exists throughout the Club.

Our spacious meeting premises provide a comfortable venue for large numbers of attendees. During the COVID-19 pandemic, meetings were conducted online using Zoom and since then we have continued to use  Zoom several time throughout the season in order to access speakers or judges from further afield.

We are a friendly, enthusiastic group and we welcome new members of all photographic standards, from complete beginners (including students) to professionals.

We have a diversity and range of photographic abilities and ages, and the more experienced members are more than willing to share their knowledge with other members. There are also a number of extra-curricular activities and training sessions in a variety of disciplines to suit all levels.

Meetings are weekly, on a Monday, from September through to mid June. We meet from 7.30 pm for an 8 pm start at The Bracknell Open Learning Centre, Rectory Lane, Bracknell RG12 7GR. There is ample free parking within The Centre’s dedicated car parks.

The Club  is a member of the  Southern Counties Photographic Federation (SCPF), which is a part of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB).
