The fourth and fifth rounds of the SCPF PDI Division 1 League Competition 2021-2022

You may recall the status after round 3 held at Bracknell when we were running third of the eight clubs in Division 1. Unfortunately, things did not go so well in the two competitions held last week and we are now in 6th position just one place above the relegation zone – however the scores are still very tight. At the Spectrum Guernsey round 4, Gladys again scored a 10.0 with her insect macro but otherwise we did not score well.

Thursday’s event at Yateley was apparently ‘interesting’ as the judge awarded Bracknell six 8.5’s and two 9.0’s – as a result, we scored our highest cumulative score of the season and but still came seventh because the judge’s marking had such a small range.

Unfortunately, neither event was on Zoom so we have no idea about comments that the judges may have made.
