In the fifth round, we did a little better than before coming fifth – however, as luck would have it we scored IDENTICALLY to Farnborough with exactly the same scores so countback did not separate us. Consequently, even though we were originally awarded 5th place, I (possibly stupidly!) reported this to the League and eventually we shared the points with Farnborough.
Steve Friend scored two 9.0’s – Congratulations Steve!
We had our best showing of the season in the sixth round– placing third. The judge this time was Ken Scott and, perhaps unsurprisingly given that Caroline, Gladys and I were in the selection group it looks like our selections may have been more closely attuned with Ken’s ideas about the EQ of various images!
Mark Wycherley’s image was the star this time with a 9.5 – congratulations!
However, I doubt this changes our chances of staying up in Division 2 for next season.
