The fifth round of the SCPF PDI Division 1 League Competition 2021-2022

The fifth round of the SCPF Division 1 PDI competition took place this evening hosted by Steyning. Despite scoring our highest total score of the season by a large margin, Bracknell came sixth in what turned out to be an amazingly close competition. We had two 10’s Ian Hardacre’s “Leon” and Mark Wycherley’s “A winter’s afternoon..” and two 9.5’s (David Watkins. and Mark Perkins)

As you can see, the inter-club scoring was very close with 5 positions having to be resolved by countback. In this round, seven of the clubs had accumulated scores higher than the highest previous WINNING club’s score in the first four competitions.

The judge held back 32 or 33 of the 64 images which was rather unusual !

There is now  a bimodal distribution with three clubs fighting for top spot and four clubs (including us!!) fighting to avoid relegation – this season is going to be touch and go !!
