Remembrance Photography

The loss of a baby must be devasting and none more so than before, during or shortly after birth.

Treasured Memories

We all value our baby photos.  They provide treasured memories.  We try to capture all those special moments. Looking back brings so much joy.  We know how much this means to us, but can we imagine what it must be like not to have a host of memories, just one.  For some parents, they only get a short time to hold their baby.  Painful as this is, it is extremely important for them to be able to hold onto this memory.  This is where Remembrance Photography comes in.

Remember my Baby

You can help make a difference within your own local community.  Remember My Baby is UK registered charity which endeavours to offer a service within every hospital and birth centre across the UK providing baby remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of their baby.

Please contact them if you are willing to volunteer to assist in this much needed service.  www.remembermybaby.org.uk or email

If you would like to know more, please feel free to talk to either Jon Sawyer or Steve Buesden, both members of Bracknell Camera Club.  Jon and Steve would be happy to answer your questions about what is involved in this valuable service.
