The streets of Oxford with the DarKnights

We had a trip to Oxford  and went into  the back streets of the Colleges.

A bit of advance planning courtesy of Jan Walters and a rather efficient Park & Ride system delivered a few of us to Oxford city centre on a cold but dry evening.

The photo opportunities presented themselves-a-plenty virtually form the moment we stepped off the bus. We enjoyed disappearing down the lane behind Balliol college where dark streets, College doorways, passing cyclists and pedestrians, the occasional ornamental streetlight and more besides allowed us to capture some excellent photos.

The evening finished off with an impromptu visit to a Burrito Café where discussion centred on how much there was to photograph and “shouldn’t we have another visit” – their wish is my command and we shall be going back on Thursday 27th February – see our schedule for more dates.
