Monday 13th March 2023 – An evening run by the Portrait SIG

On Monday evening we held our third session in the creative corners series of events.

The group presented a range of their own images taken on the numerous and varied field trips they have organised. A wide variety of projects covering high speed sync with dancers and gymnasts using a trampoline, location shoot in Wokingham town centre, a model shoot in a workshop, self portraits, natural light session with Daizie and a garden visit. All organised by the group, wow! We had a thoroughly delightful evening showcasing the skill base of our own members and their willingness to share their knowledge and learning.

They also provided us with the opportunity to try out flash photography with three specific set ups around the room.

From the reaction from members it was clearly another successful evening.

Our thanks go to Alan, Steve, Franco, Gladys, Jeff and Bob for taking the time to organise, present and run the evening. Also the members of the Portrait Group for sharing their images with us.

Very much a team event.
