June 1st 2020 – Critique Plus – Daan and Jeff

Twelve images and two judges – what could go wrong?

The evening was an experiment as we’d asked Daan and Jeff to pick 6 images each for the those submitted, critique them as a judge, suggest how perhaps they thought the image could be improved and show the steps taken to realise their suggestions.

The majority of the work was done before the evening as Jeff and Daan had only had 6 minutes for all of this including a few sentences from the original author.

Thanks to Jeff and Daan for an excellent presentation and to Paul for his timekeeping as we progressed through the evening.

As for me, I saw my ‘snap’ of Fountains Abbey transformed . This evening has given me even more encouragement to work harder on my processing skills.
