Richard showed us some superb wildlife photography with, in the second half, Richard explaining how each shot was produced, starting from the initial idea through the development stages to the final shot.

Rojer gave us a fascinating talk about still life art and photography and the influences of the 17th century Dutch masters and the meanings they embedded into their paintings.

Simon Roy showed images of the highest quality with great compositions and went on to explain the craft behind how each was created.

Anne’s main interests are animals and travel

Tom Peck showed us how the traditions of the Sublime had influenced early landscape photographers and its influence continues right through to the modern day.

Brian combined his life-long interests in photography and cars into a highly entertaining talk.

The Club is keen to encourage printing in the club and 50 members attended yesterday’s Zoom meeting on printing.

This evening was our first competition since the 1st March. The Margaret Woods Trophy is our annual nature competition with PDI images.
