11th November 2019 – Journey to the Arctic – Nigel Spencer ARPS

Yesterday evening we were transported to the Artic and through Nigel’s excellent photography and videography we really were given the impression of what it might feel like to be there in among the polar bears.

Nigel’s journey began at Alta on the Norwegian mainland where he joined a small fishing boat that travelled over 600 nautical miles to reach the Svalbard archipelago, then headed further north and reached the Pack Ice on the edge of the North Pole.

Nigel also showed his ARPS nature panel which showed the excellent printing of which he is capable.
